The Secret To Increased Sales Activity

Eyeball To EyeballIn business success everyone is looking for the SECRETS. I think there really are NO secrets, just adhering to some good principles that you need to be aware of but for the sake of the title of this post

The Secret To Increased Sales Activity.

Despite mailings to a farm, email prospecting, outbound phone calls to sphere, in the end it is all about

EYEBALL TO EYEBALL meetings. You have to get out and meet people at your office, at Starbucks, at networking events, and common shared interests. WITHOUT that touch you are someone at the end of an email, text, or phone call, not QUITE yet a WARM contact.

The more eyeball to eyeball the more your chances are greater at SALES.

Gary, Couldn't agree with you more..we are in the "customer service" business, I've never looked at Real Estate as selling homes but establishing relationships which you can't possibly accomplish sitting behind a desk.

Hi Gary~

Great post!  It is so easy to sit at our desks these days and just push out the emails...which most people delete without even looking at them.  Thanks for the reminder!

Gary

That is a very compelling photo to illustrate an excellent point, one which I suspect we need to be reminded about in this day and age of social media and the Internet.

Congrats on a well deserved feature...short, sweet and to the point.

Like what Gloria said in #2 face to face & voice to voice, very true as I had most of my success through that route.

I always called it belly to belly. Difference between face to face and an email is like night and day. I delete hundreds of emails, but never delete a face to face meeting.

Getting out of the office and circulating even if just running into a big box store can cause activity too. Hard work is great but a strategy works best that can be flexible and change with the real estate twists and turns.

Yes, personal contact is essential and no matter how many emails or texts a person sends, they don't matter. The best client connections I've had always had a strong face-to-face element in their initial relationship.

Gary,

Great post!  You are absolute correct!  Real Estate is a very social business, and many agents are anti-social.  Wow!!!
