ActiveRain Member Receives NAR’s 2012 EverGreen Award.
For a second year in a row an ActiveRain member has received the 2012 EverGreen Award from the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS’® (NAR’s) Green REsource Council. David Popoff who is with William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty in Darien, Connecticut was one of six recipients nationwide to receive the 2012 NAR’s GreenAward, last year ActiveRain member Evan Little was one of 4 recipients.
The award ceremony was held at the annual National Realtor Conference in Orlando, Florida on Sunday November 11th, 2012. Presenting the award was Amanda Stinton (left), Tonette Lauer (right) from National Associaton of REALTORS and David Popoff
David Popoff was nominated for this annual award based on his commitments to the green industry, as well as his work within the community. Popoff was selected for the 2012 EverGreen Award by an independent panel of green real estate professionals.
He has been an outstanding leader in the green real estate community. Some of Popoff achievements within the community include participating in the annual LIVE GREEN CT Expo in Norwalk, Ct., an advisor and contributor to SnappyGreen.com and Greentowns.com websites and instructor for the CTGBC GPRO green training program that was just launched in Connecticut.
David Popoff also serves a broad range of clients to help them make choices about sustainable or energy-efficient living, and provides an outstanding knowledge base and set of resources. He has made a visible difference for green buyers in his real estate market and local community.
David Popoff has demonstrated that he is the source of knowledge and experience in working with individuals interested in green and sustainable issues, and has shown a strong dedication to this flourishing niche of the real estate market. David Popoff’s exemplary acts deserve this special recognition, as they exemplify the principles of good practice among real estate agents.
