Money  Money, Money, Money, Money - Are you a Saver or a Spender?

This ongoing recession should be teaching us the lesson regarding the need to Save Money. In a 2011 Poll from the National Foundation for Credit Counseling, 64 percent of respondents admitted they would not be able to rely on their savings account if a $1,000 unplanned expense popped up. Many admitted that if their pay would be delayed a week, they would be in trouble. Where do you fit in?

It's not easy to save money for many Americans as they are experiencing rising costs of food, gasoline, utility bills and more. One tip I would like to share is going back to shopping "sales", using coupons, looking for rebates, comparing prices whether you are shopping for groceries, home furnishing, or clothing. Some stores offer memberships that reward you with savings on certain items.  End of season clothing is a true bargain where the stores want to get rid of these items, marking them down heavily.

Try to curb spending where you can. Your bank account and future will reward you!
