Update on Current Real Estate Conditions in Palatine Illinois (home sale, property, land statistics)
This update is as of of December 10, 2012. Currently - there are 175 single family homes on the market, ranging in price from $75,000 to $1,590.000. As compared to my post in March when there was 213 single family homes on the market ranging in price from $100,000 to $1,780,000.
During the past month 26 properties closed - ranging in price from $114,000 to $509.000 as compared with 18 properties that closed in March.
In the townhome and condo market in Palatine, there are currently 197 listed properties as compared to 326 listed properties in March -- ranging in price from $27,900 to $1,990,000.
During the past month - 48 properties closed compared to 43 in March, ranging in price from $21,000 to $550,000 versus $32,000 to $240,000 in March. Many of the sales on the low end were short saleor foreclosure property purchases.
