An article appeared in the Albuquerque Journal yesterday, stating that housing prices had risen nearly six percent in October since the same time last year, nationwide. This is good news for the housing community; the increase will help fuel a housing recovery.
In New Mexico, however, the prices remain steady but have increased very little. However, nationally, mortgages rates are still near record lows, and rent is increasing, so home-buying is becoming much more alluring, and more affordable.
