OK, this morning I woke up as normal and got the sleep out of my eyes and went down stairs to walk the five dogs. After a brisk walk in 36 degree temperatures it was time to feed them. Well, that takes about an hour cause they all have to eat in cycles. So, in the meantime I usually watch HGTV. Not this morning. Today, it was about playing Wii due to a blog that Jason Crouch wrote. If you click on his picture, you can subscribe to him today.

Well, due to my dismay, I aged over night and went from a 26 year old Wii to a 45 year old Wii. And then it hit me like a ton of Bricks. THERE IS NO REAL FOOTBALL ON TODAY.

What will I do. I am addicted to sitting in my chair on Sunday and watching from 12 noon to midnight. I am lost. I can not believe that there is no football out there.

Danny - Thanks for including my photo (and the link) in this post.  I actually feel the same way today.  After the Superbowl each year, I go through withdrawal for awhile.  Actually, I guess mine starts each year when the Cowboys' season ends (a regular occurence for 11 years now).

Awww.  Poor baby.  It's a nice sunny 51 degrees out right now, Danny.  Why don't you go outside and find someone to toss the ball around with?  :-)

Jason, I can sympathize with you. I wonder how Romo feels now that he lost out on the playoffs and Jessica.

Nancy, I was outside tossing around my dog. Fetch

I feel your pain! I love NFL football and am usually lost after the superbowl until baseball preseason; sorry not a basketball fan. I hope your Giants win as a Manning is preferable to no Manning; though my favorite Manning will be in a box watching this year!

Choices in my home for today:

1. Hold open house (not really a choice)

2. Move furniture

3. Paint (dang, I always wind up with this one!)

I miss football! :(

P.S. Danny you'll love this, my husband wore his Patriots jacket to church today and got punched about ten times!LOL!

Martin, for those that love basketball, they are ok. For people like me that is just a Football/Baseball guy, then we are in trouble for a couple of months.

Rich, I feel your pain, but it is usually me watching Peyton play after Eli has gone home. Maybe next year we can having a Manning Bowl.

Serves him right. I heard God had jumped on the Giants bandwagon this year.
