Is your computer 2 or 3 years old? If so, your computer may be a dianosaur by today's advanced standards. Is your PC giving you the fits?
Ready to spend that $600 or $1200 that Congress is working to help you and the economy? If you're in the market for a new PC, then check out these features that will keep your computer from becoming extinct too early:
500 GB of memory (lots of memory to store contracts, photos, movies, documents), or 1 TB (terabyte = 2 x 500 GB)
2 or 3 GB of RAM (how many programs you can run simultaneously)
DVD/CD/Blue Ray Player. Yes, great PC's come with Blue Ray Players built in now.
WiFi built in. Forget about adding a cable or DSL line to your PC. Go wireless with WiFi (wireless fidelity).
TV Tuner. Do your computing and watch or hear CNN, Headline News, CNBC, ESPN.
Radio Tuner. Do your computing and listen to your fav radio station as the background music.
Multi-card slots to insert and download your memory disks that you have photos, movies.
Extra Bays for expansion... expand your PC's memory or add additional future upgrades.
Personal memory bays... insert portable and removable memory drives for on the go or sharing.
These features should keep your new PC from becoming extinct too quickly. Your new PC should give you racing speeds to keep your productivity high and keep your sanity in balance as you do the work.
I use a HP Pavillion Media Center desk top. Since I do a lot of photography and video uploading and editing, I will need to add TB(s) of memory to my already 300 GB. The TV and Radio tuner is amazing. I can even record TV shows using my PC. A remote control changes the TV channel and radio stations. I can even rewind live shows. Watching ESPN and News is great while doing work or taking a short break from www.ActiveRain.com and reading bloggers like Jim Crawford in Atlanta, Carl Winters in Bulverde, TX, Alan Kirkpatrick in Austin, Lisa Ryan in Hillsborough - Princeton, NJ, Tom Burris in Dallas, Health, Wellness & Fitness Coach Kennedy Patrick in NY, Ardell DellaLoggia in Bellevue, WA, Doreen McPherson in Phoenix, Judy Greenberg in IL, Vanessa Statelets in TN, Robin Rogers in San Antonio, Pat Baker in MA, and Melissa Ann DeMarco in Siesta Key, FL.
Here's an example of a type of HP Pavillion.
