2012 Client Appreciation Night... The Rolling Stones Version!

By
Home Stager with Toronto GTA, Alliston, Newmarket 416.928.2999

It's that time of year again when Advantage Staging and Michelle Finnamore Interiors takes the opportunity to thank our clients for their support.

This year my good friend Brian Liss from Liss Gallery on Yorkville Avenue in Toronto provided fabulous artwork for the event.

Brian carries artwork by Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones, Todd White of Sponge Bob Sqaure Pants fame, Harry Benson the photographer for U.S. Presidents, the Beatles and Muhammad Ali amongst others.

Our office is located inside a real estate brokerage which has their client appreciation night the same day. The agents are invited to drop in with their clients on the same evening which leads to many mutually beneficial partnerships over the next year. Smiles were everywhere, might have been the home made wine in the Sangria!

Some of the most popular pieces of artwork were by Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones and by Todd White the illustrator of Sponge Bob Sqaure Pants.

Dr. Suess was a hit with the young and old alike. Most people have great memories of reading the popular story books.  The artists Jim and Kathleen Keifer were commissioned by Scrabble and Monopoly to produce works of art of their board games. Unique in that you can have your family or business name painted in the Scrabble board game for that truly unique gift for that special client.

It was great to catch up with everyone to see how they were enjoying living in their new homes after Advantage Staging had staged their homes for sale as well as the redesigns that Michelle Finnamore Interiors had created for our staging to stay clients.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make it happen in 2012!

Hi Michelle ~ What a fun and creative way to show your appreciation for your clients!  I love that you coordinate this event with the brokerage you're connected with.

Thanks for stopping in Maureen, I would love to have had my AR friends there as well!

It is always a fun event. I try a different theme each year. The artwork was a huge hit with the agents as it allowed for their visitors to drop in and see something that they could talk about when they were making their rounds over the holidays. It was a unique way to keep their agents name top of mind when they were talking with their friends and family. You never know when someone is thinking about selling their property or looking to buy.

The brokerage has approximately a 1,000 people through so it makes for a very busy day starting at noon and ending at 8 p.m.

Michelle - What a great event.  I love Yorkville Avenue in Toronto.  A very chic, swanky area!  Love the link with the artwork - this looks like it was a huge hit.

HI Sally, the Liss Gallery is rigt beside the Four Seasons Hotel where all the stars stay when they are in Toronto, quite the chic area as you say.

It was a real coup for me to have this artwork in my showroom for the event. The agents are still bringing their clients in to see it. The broker owner commented tonight that the agents feel they are so lucky to have a great partnership with a stager that makes them look good with their clients.  Thanks for checking out the link to the Liss Gallery website.

All the big stars have been in the gallery from Ringo Star to John Mellencamp to Goldie Hawn to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Now if only I was invited to stage one of their homes here in Toronto!

Hi Shar, client appreciation night is always a good time. We have someone playing guitar for a coffee house feel. Art and music is always a winning combination.   Thank you for the good wishes on being chosen for RESA top 10 stager.

HI Chris, The food is good but it's the Sangria that keeps them coming back for more! LOL!!  Thank you for your good wishes on the award as well. Your blog post was timely as I had a client recently that was complaining of the same problem. When I explained that it was burning petroleum based candles in the house and when the return air draws the air down to the furnace it leaves those marks I don't think she believed me.  Now I can send her your post. Always best to burn bees wax or soya to avoid the dark marks.

HI Shar, thanks for stopping in to see this years event. I meet so many interesting people while staging as you must as well. Brian Liss the gallery owner was introduced to me by a collegue at the real estate office where my office is located.  I asked if he would be interested in placing some of his art in my space as many of my clients ask me to purchase artwork for them once they move into their new homes.

I wish you much success in 2013 as well! See you in San Francisco at the convention.
