Travolta Brings It Home to Ocala in his new video with former Grease co-star Olivia Newton-John. Almost 35 years ago John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John sang sweet nothings to each other on film.
They recently reunited in Ocala, Fl to produce a fun filled music video for the song "I Think You Might Like It. The video was filmed at Travolta's home in Anthony, his Jumbolair neighborhood and the Ocala International Airport.
The video shows the two cavorting and driving off all cuddled up in Travolta's 1955 T-Bird.
It also features a few locals showing off their own dance moves, including Kelly Preston, Ella Bleu and Ben Travolta — Travolta's wife and children.
It celebrates small-town America at Christmas and shows the Travoltas' concern for their adopted hometown of Ocala.
"You know, it's our town, and (the video) feels like Ocala," said Travolta, who has lived in the area for about 10 years. "I couldn't have done it anywhere else. It wouldn't have felt right."
Ocala and the local performers are getting much airtime with the video hitting number 5 on iTunes in the first 12 hours of it's release. The video has also been featured on the Ellen show and will make another appearance next week on Good Morning America.
Suddenly, overnight Ocala is seen all over the world!
Not only have Ocala residents had fun with being part of this video but it was for a good cause. The video helped to benefit a local charity during this holiday season as well as making great steps to showcase the Ocala area.
Hats off to the Travolta family for their care and concern for our growing community! Thanks and a Happy Holiday to all of you!
