On Tuesday, I was walking through my living room back to the bedroom and something in the backyard caught my eye. It had this funky snout that looked like an ant-eater, but then I was thinking possum.
I yelled out to my husband to come look at this thing and he grabbed the camera on his way... It's a Grey Fox.
I've never seen a Fox before. It is not what I expected at all! I wish we got a better picture, more with the face. It's small like a cat. After much Googling, we found out the Texas Grey Fox is actually "friendly" in that it eats rats and mice and insects and other nasties like snakes.
It casually sniffed around our bushes and walked through the fence to the neighbor's and then through the fence into the Greenbelt. I guess it's good that it's not a coyote!!
