Another local business in Goodyear - West Valley Vision Center
I was at West Valley Vision Center this morning for my annual eye exam and, given my recent focus on local businesses in Goodyear, thought it was a perfect day to blog about this one.
West Valley Vision Center has been in business since 1962. I believe the doctor who originally owned the practice retired a few years ago and one of the other doctors is now the owner. In any case, this year, 2012, they’re celebrating 50 years of service in the West Valley. I’ve been a patient there since moving to Arizona in 2007.
The Optometrists at West Valley Vision Center provide everything from exams to detect and treat eye disease, prescribing corrective lenses, diagnosing and treating red eye problems and infections, allergies, glaucoma, dry eyes, and other eye problems. They are trained in the latest technology so you always receive the most advanced optometric care available. I have a very difficult lens prescription and the doctors there have worked hard to fit my contact lenses perfectly. Chris, the manager in charge of many things including contact lenses, has been great at helping me with my contact lens issues over the years. She greets me like a friend whenever I’m there.
Speaking of the staff at West Valley Vision Center, I think they are the reason we’ve been coming back year after year more than anything else. All the technicians and opticians are so nice and so knowledgeable. I have no hesitation recommending the professional staff at West Valley Vision Center for all your optometric needs.
Of course, looking after your eye health and getting a prescription is just part of the story. West Valley Vision Center has a huge selection of eyeglass frames. Every designer you can think of that makes frames seems to be available there. They 
also have a good selection of regular vision sunglasses. It might be last minute but as an example of what they have to offer, they are hosting an open house of sorts this Saturday, December 15th. They are calling it The Winter Trunk Show. You can check it out any time between 8:00am and noon. I plan on being there as my husband plans on buying a new pair of glasses and he wants to be sure he has one of the latest styles.
I have to admit, when I was looking at houses for sale in Palm Valley, I did take note of the fact that there was a place to get my eyes checked that was close by. Their address is 2580 N. Litchfield Road in Goodyear.
