Today, we are going to the woods that we have with the Grandchildren, to find the perfect tree and bring it home.
WE will then put the tree in the tree stand, build a fire (It is 42 degrees here right now), put on the Christmas music, pull out the decorations that we have had for 40 years, and let the Children decorate. Jimmy puts the Angel on top, Gina does the lights and the little ones put on the balls, bells, other angels, Santa clauses etc. Then I put the gifts that I have wrapped under the tree.
WE then sit around with some refreshments and just stare at our tree lovingly, and listen to the wonderful songs we love for Christmas.
It is the most beautiful tree in the world when they are finished...even though most of the decorations are about 3 feet high.
This is what Christmas is to me..
