Last Minute Christmas Shopping 2012!
DESK CALENDAR WITH MAGNIFYING GLASS ON ITIt's something we never learn (remember Christmas 2009) and so it's time for us procrastinators to get out there and finish off the Christmas shopping!

Still thinking about last minute gifts or stocking stuffer ideas? Well here are a few that may help you:

  • How about some a custom photo book, the Clapper still brings laughs, the heart foundation has a calendar and chances to win prizes, now thats a gift that keeps on giving all year.
  • iPhone or android music docker
  • the new automatic Robo floor sweeper
  • gift cards are popular especially at this late date, but please be careful and read the rules of the cards, know the expiration dates and such
  •  still one of the best gifts you can give, to anyone is that of your time.  Quality time, given from your heart to your loved one or friend.

How about a special calendar? Not just any old calendar; a calendar with a date circled on each month. Attach an envelope to each month with instructions that it can only be opened on the 1st of that month. The envelope has a letter inside outlining the activities that special day will hold.

Example: the calendar could be a gift to your Mom with the 15th of the month as the date chosen. The letter would state that on January 15th at 10:30 am you will be picking her up for a picnic in the park, a day of shopping, a spa day or whatever activity you have chosen that you know the recipient will enjoy. The whole day is theirs to enjoy in your company without distractions. Each month should hold a different activity or adventure.

Believe us, this will be the gift they will cherish most.  It's a gift they will anticipate and it lasts all year long.  Just remember to mark your own calendar! This is one appointment you can not cancel!

If you have any last minute gift ideas can you share?  At this late date, we all need help

Luckily I only buy for Mickey and one other person and I'm done.  Mickey of course is lottery tickets and all her favorite goodies while she's watching her movies.

Al & Peggy, I bought my FIRST Christmas presents of the season TODAY.  Yes, we're running terribly late this year.  But to add to your neat list of ideas, a collection of spices or sea salts for the cooks in your family will probably be a huge hit!  Today purchased a variety of 10 different sea salts for a relative for under $40.  They covered the whole world too!

There is so much I didn't get to this year, too many things got in my way. But, the gifts are done now, so I am happy with that.

The good news, I got to spend lots of quality time with my grandchildren doing Christmas activities, I am spent, LOL. But we had a fantastic time!

I love the calendar idea, that is fantastic!

Hi Kids, I'm starting to feel the heat as I only have to make sure I buy for one person, and so far I haven't bought for that person. It could be a very cold winter if I don't get something nice

Your Best Hawaii Realtor!

The past 3 years, I had sent out 200 calendar/planners to a list of people.  Since, no one said anything, no referrals, no thank yous, no nothing, I decided this year NOT to send.  Well, this year I got TWO phone calls asking why I didn't send the calendars.  Both were relatives, so I didn't think that counted, but YOUR idea of sending calendars with your method sounds like THAT will work.  Have a wonderful Holiday Season!

It's that time of year for sure. So much to do, so little time. BLitz that's a great gift idea....salts!  Bruce we had the same experience with calendars for clients and so gave them up as well. Glad to hear everyone sounds organized, but Ed, you really better get busy!
