Another Successful Holiday on the Green in New Milford, CT

Despite the inclement weather, in the face of all we have been through, we were able to hold our Holiday on the Green in New Milford, CT yesterday. What a joy it was to see the faces of the children light up as they sat on Santa's lap, the pure joy they exuded when they saw Sonny & Justin of Utopia Percherons all decked out in their finest holiday attire. It made the worries of the past few days slip away, even if only for a few hours.

I want to personally thank everyone who helped make this event possible. To everyone at Prudential Connecticut Realty in New Milford and Housatonic Valley Insurance (HVI on the Green), I am blessed to be a part of this event every year. And a big thank you to Liddy Adams of Prudential Connecticut Realty. Liddy has been the driving force of our hayride event.

To Santa & Mrs. Claus, we are ever so appreciative that you take time out of your busy schedule to include our holiday event!

To the New Milford Police Department, thank you. And by the way, I know you enjoy this just as much as we do!

To the parents who brought their wonderful children out for the event, thank you. We know how hard it was to do this, and we are happy we could help lighten the mood, even if only for a bit.

And last but not least, to the hero of the day, Brian Lynch of Utopia Percherons, Goshen, CT. The roads were icy up his way, he pulled over, called the DOT and waited until they got there to sand the roads. He knew it was so important that he, Sonny & Justin be there for the children. You guys rock! You continue to make the event the best thing I do all year long!
