Before hiring a Realtor®, do yourself a favor. Write a list of what you expect of your Realtor®, and then interview the Realtor according to your list.

Having an open conversation about your expectations and listening to what your Realtor® expects as well will greatly reduce the possibility of miscommunications and problems.  

And if you find that you are on a completely different page, what better time to find that out than BEFORE you list your home.
