If you want a piece of the American home ownership dream now may just be the time to buy. If you have a down-payment, the combination of lower home prices and lower interest rates, than this is a good time to purchase yout dream. I believe there are good buys in Westchester County's Real Estate Market as well as other regions in the county. There is a well written article by Wallet Pop, that details the process to go through before you purchase. Knowledge is power so know everything you can before you purchase.
