Located out of the hustle and bustle of Tucson Arizona, is the town of Oro Valley. This beautiful community is located at the base of the gorgeous Catalina Mountain range, Oro Valley is a growing town with a lot to offer. This town is located approximately three miles north of the Tucson city limits, in northern Pima County. Spreading out over 34 square miles it sits at an elevation of 2,620 feet. All five schools are part of the Amphitheater Public School District, whose test scores average higher then state, country, and national averages in every category for math skills, and reading language.

In addition, Oro Valley has a closely located Pima Community College Campus, is within a quick drive from the University of Arizona, and a short distance to a University of Phoenix Campus as well. Oro Valley is host to many luxurious resorts and golf courses. Avid golfers will love the sunny weather, and beautifully maintained courses. There are a variety of courses available to meet the needs of all skill levels. Courses include the Hilton El Conquistador Resort with Pusch Ridge Golf Course, the Oro Valley Country Club, the Golf Club at Vistoso, The Stone Canyon Golf Club, The Golf Villas at Oro Valley, and the Sun City Vistoso Golf Club. Local vendors and other members of the community love strolling to the various booths every Saturday Morning for an assortment of fresh fruit, vegetables, and many products unique to the southwest. The town is host to a newly constructed Oro Valley Public Library, with a large assortment of reading material and state-of the- art computers for public use. Recently the town opened the Oro Valley Market place, which is home to many restaurants, shops, and a brand-new movie theater.

 Downtown Tucson is just a short 30 minute drive away which hosts many concert venues and has an eclectic nightlife. Oro Valley is a community that is an ideal home to many different people. It is a great community to retire in with various clubs, and fantastic outdoors. However, it is also a safe and family friendly area with good schools, and many activities for all ages.
