Character of the homes in this neighborhoodFarm Hill updated home

Built in the 1950′s the majority of the homes originally offered a variety of single-level, split-level and 2 story floor plans with 3 or 4 bedrooms and 2 baths.  Over the years many have been tastefully updated and expanded to include additional bedrooms and baths, larger master suites, family rooms or great rooms.

Though many homes have level backyards opening off the homes’ living rooms, most of those built on a downslope have transformed originally unfinished basement areas to create living and bedroom spaces flowing to backyards.  A few offer pools, and many provide picturesque views of the Peninsula, bay or neighboring hills.

In addition to the main portion of the neighborhood, there are a couple of additional pockets of detached homes as well as a large townhouse/condominium development built in the early 1970′s and a gated, luxury townhouse community of 23 units built in the early 1980′s.

New owners looking to play an active role in their community should consider joining the Farm Hill Neighborhood Association.
