Arriving Saturday evening in Honolulu for the 2008 Sell-A-Bration Annual Education Conference of the Council of Residential Specialists, after a 10-hour flight from Atlanta straight through to Honolulu, I checked in to my room at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani (where I took swimming lessons when I was much younger), and rested for a few hours before having brunch Sunday morning (in my favorite hat) with family and friends at the Outrigger Canoe Club in Waikiki.
Brunch at one of the most unique restaurants/Clubs in Honolulu was carb-laden (coconut syrup on my waffle WITH whipped cream, fresh strawberries dipped in sour cream AND brown sugar, fresh papaya with a spritz of lime, mahi-mahi, etc.), so I walked the mile or so down Kalakaua Avenue to the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel to take Part One of the Ninja Selling course (1:30 to 5:00 p.m.). I feel very grateful and fortunate to be able to listen and learn from Walt Frey and Larry Kendall, who are presenting the Ninja Selling course. This morning (Monday) I will be attending Part Two (final) of Ninja Selling.
This afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. the Vendor Showcase will be open, and seeing and learning about the latest technology is one of my favorite activities at the Conventions.
Tonight Howard Brinton presents Tough Times Spawn a Tougher CRS at the Opening Session. I already can't wait for Tuesday's sessions.
If you want to attend next year's Sell-A-Bration 2009, it is scheduled for February 5-7, 2009 at the San Francisco Hilton. Register here.
As a side note, I posted a few important links regarding radon levels and radon testing on BuckingtheRealEstateTrend.com this morning. January is Radon Action Month.
