I wrote most of this in July of 2009, it’s relevant today.

There ought to be a law outlawing shooting your Mother!

O’ we forget there already is.

There ought to be a law outlawing stealing guns!

O’ we forget there already is.

There ought to be a law forbidding shooting school principalis!

O’ we forget there already is.

There ought to be a law forbidding shooting school councilors!

Maybe. Regardless there already is.

There ought to be a law forbidding shooting school kids!

O’ we forgot there already is.

There ought to be a law forbidding guns in schools!

O’ we forget there already is. The school staff obeyed leaving no one who could defend them selves or the kids!

There ought to be a law forbidding criminals from having guns!

O’ we forget there already is.

"There ought to be a law" is ignorance, there almost always already is a law.

"We need to enforce the existing laws" is wisdom.

Personification of corporations is as illogical as the not blaming the people for the actions of their corporations.

In foreclosures no amount of name calling will hide the fact that some one defaulted.

You can't help everyone.

You don't want to hurt anyone!

Apathy is not immoral.

Some apathy is required for logical analysis.

Not being caught, having done it before, is not the same as legal.

Retaining teachers based on tenure and paying them based on seniority, not competence explains much of today's society. "Scooby Do and Friends" fighting the evil corporations explains even more.

Saturday School, IE: Scooby has replaced Sunday School for teaching morals.

It's alright to tax and demand concession when you're excepted.

Acronyms, after a name mean time and money spent nothing more, often less.

You can't have political integrity with out constituency competence.

Unintended consequences, were often hidden, more often overlooked.

"He had a kind heart" is just as good an epitaph as "He had the right away!"

Good with out competent judgement serves no one.

Children who can’t be taken hunting should be taken to a slaughter house at lease once a year! There to learn both the horrors and benefits of death.

Sheep are at the bottom of the food chain, be they four legged or two.

There ought to be a law requiring these post to paste in the way I write them.

George,

I totally agree.

I'd like an amendment that caped the total number of laws we could have. If Congress in it's wisdom wanted a new law they should have to cancel an existing one. Their is president, the Lord only needed 10 Commandments and a Golden Rule.

If I had my way, there would be a budget and it could only be amended quarterly. All spending bill must included a sunset provision.

But, then people could know what their regeneratives were doing, it could make it hard to win a second term.

What went on last Friday, we can only hope, will never be repeated. There can be laws, but people are still gonna break them.

Caring can not overcome incompetence-  Nothing will come from all the attention by media and our government concerning this.  We cannot assume the government will protect our children.  It is our duty and responsibililty.

Bill -- and again, it appears that there was a breakdown in the caring for someone with mental problems - just as there was in Seattle back in May.

Dale,

That part was from the original referring to real estate.

But, it totally applies! No amount of caring can over come the lack of ability or tools to defend those children.

Steven,

They cared! I don't question their love or concern just their logic!

We do so much to protect the kids from objects and ban the only means of protecting them from people.

Bill... I have great news for you.  First of all, though, as far as Moses and the Ten Commandments are concerned... I believe I read somewhere that there were actually Fifteen of them on three tablets originally, but slippery-fingered Moses dropped one of those tablets, and it broke into too many pieces to put back together.

Now... with all the hubbub and "to do" currently about reinstating the ban on assault weapons... the one that expired in 2004... not to worry.  It won't happen.  Nothing will happen.

There are just way too many folks who are the "Me First" conservatives to let anything or anyone take away their precious weapons of war.  Besides, they are much too busy trying to slash funds from any of the counseling programs currently being funded by our government.

Merry Christmas...

Karen Anne,

Thank you for such a great example of the convoluted self serving testosterone laced bovine droppings the left purports as facts. With diarrhea like frequency and Jofeph Goebbels prophecy this may well be considered true, by some.

Those programs enslave their recipients while over paying huge layers of bureaucrat Over-Lords and Slave-Masters.

Another tablet wouldn't have made much diffrence, man can't live with the two we know of.

I find no solace in your assurance "not to worry.  It won't happen.  Nothing will happen." That's what they said about Obama care!

Merry Christmas...

Bill
