Catonsville, MD
Unfortunately for Catonsville, November 2012 was not the city's strongest showing with regards to the real estate market, as sales decreased almost 30%, going from $9.5 million in November 2011 to $6.8 milliom this month. This is largely attributed to a large decrease in homes being sold, with only 28 being sold this November compared to 41 homes in 2011. Though the average selling price inreased 5%, that was not enough to make up for the aforementioned 30% decrease. In addition, homes stayed on the market for 23 days longer on average, though 15 did sell witihn 60 days. Overall, though Catonsville did not experienced its strongest month, the lack of activity in November will hopefully bring about a strong end to 2012 as well as a good start to 2013.
