Ulster County NY Board of Realtors Gives Back Via "Santa's Gift" - Local Charities & Holiday Events
The Ulster County NY Board of Realtors (UCBR) consists of folks that live, work, and raise families right here in the area. Along with selling real estate for sale in Ulster County, giving back to local charities is a very important part of the UCBR's agenda. That's why when one of our own created a charity tailor-made for the holidays, the UCBR decided to support it - and we here at Taft Street Realty are doing our best to promote it!
Mitch Rappaport (a.k.a. Uncle Mitch) is a Woodstock NY real estate agent who bares an uncanny resemblance to none other than Santa Clause! Mitch has been Woodstock's resident Santa Clause for years! One can never underestimate how busy those that portray Santa can be around this time of year, and how much of a positive impact they have on peoples' lives! So Rappaport and his wife started the Santa's Gift Program; a charity where donors can supply our local, Ulster County Santa with gifts to hand out on his many local stops this holiday season!
For the 2012 season, the Ulster County NY Board of Realtors (UCBR) provided a donation to Santa's Gift. The board thought it was the perfect way to support a local charity and a fellow agent who has always given back to the community. With all of the many local holiday events in Ulster County NY, there's no doubt that Santa Clause will be very, very busy!
