Today was a quiet but productive day at the office. We were organizing all of the pending files to make sure things are in good order before the Christmas break. It's nice to have a decent amount of files to juggle heading into the New Year.
We're very thankful for that!
At the end of the day, my secretary and dear friend, presented a beautifully wrapped package to me. She seemed especially excited as I opened it.
I soon realized why.
I believe she chose an absolutely perfect gift for me and she knew it! 
I've loved books since I was a little girl in elementary school. Helping in the library both before-and-after school enabled me to have the best choice of reading materials from the school library. Our little town also had a public library and my Mom took us there often.
Now, as an adult, my favorite shopping trip is to the book store. It just doesn't get any better than that, for me. The first thing I do when I get my new purchases is to open up the book to the front inside cover and write "C Hooks" in the upper right hand corner.
Little did I know that I was being watched!
This little tool will allow me to personalize my books better than ever. After I carefully place a page between the two medal plates and squeeze tightly, my books will now be embossed with, "From The Library of Christine M. Hooks".
How cool is that?!!!!

I immediately began working on my 'library' at the office. As you can see, there is much to do.
(but I must admit, this is a chore that is just plain FUN!)
After I finish embossing all of the 'work' books, I'll begin on the ones at home.
