Highly Recommended Reading

The world IS changing and we need to recognize and embrace it.

As 2012 comes to a close, I would like to share some highly recommended reading. I was not much of a reader until I reached 30. In my early 30's I read a lot of books on personal growth and development/self improvement. I needed and wanted this for myself.

I use to plow through these books, reading as much as possible. I came to a conclusion that no matter how positive we are and how many positive quotes we copy and paste, we still need to understand what is going on in the world. Peace, love and respect starts from within and one must apply these attributes to oneself first before you can share these qualities with others to fully appreciate their meanings.

In my mid and late 30's I read books that focused on understanding our world, how it operates and what we can do to make it a better place. Also, what the trend is for the future of humanity if we are to continue our survival on this planet.

Nothing is set in stone, but as a collective conscious while maintaining our individual identities, we can co-create an abundance of living so high on Earth we will ask ourselves...why didn't we do this from the start?

I give to all of you a list of highly recommended reading.

1. The Creature From Jekyll Island - A Second Look at the Federal Reserve - G. Edward Griffin

2. The Tyranny of Words - Stuart Chase

3. Lights in the Tunnel: Automation, Accelerating Technology and the Economy of the Future - Martin Ford

4. Critical Path - R. Buckminster Fuller

5. The Empathic Civilization: The Race to Global Consciousness in a World in Crisis - Jeremy Rifkin

6. The Best That Money Can't Buy - Jacque Fresco

7. Please Understand Me II - David Keirsey

The Magic 7 :) Remember, we do not have a food, water, energy and housing crisis. We have a crisis in consciousness. We can create an amazing world and live in a state of dynamic equilibrium with other species and the environment.

Please share in the comment section your recommended books.

Tony,

If you haven't as of yet, pick up a copy of the book titled "The Energy Bus". We give these books away as gifts. The author Gordon gives us an everyday persepective of how different people approach a modern society and it's perceived "roadblocks".

Good reading and have a memorable holiday with family and friends.
