A unique one-house Christmas display that you should not miss - in Carmichael CA.

You may have noticed that I just wrote a post about one of the best area Christmas lights shows http://actvra.in/NjV, and that post involves one street (Dovewood Ct) where the whole neighborhood goes all out to decorate their homes.

But I can't forget to share a certain home in a different Sacramento County neighborhood not far from there, in Carmichael CA, which is special all on its own.

This house, which has a little different take on holiday lights display, is located at 6930 Lisa Marie Way, Carmichael.  It is probably a 10 minute (at most) drive from the Dovewood Ct neighborhood.

At first glance it appears that there are many children standing in the yard, but as you look carefully you notice that they have photographed about 90 neighborhood children and incorporated those sweet faces into the display. And each year they have added more children to it.

What a wonderful idea, and it recognizes the wonder of children at this time of year.  A truly unique idea and a beautiful celebration of Christmas.  Go by and see it.  Lisa Marie Way is between Winding Way and Fair Oaks Blvd, not far west of San Juan Ave, and it is well worth the look. 

So bundle up and get out and experience the great holiday joy that these folks have spent so much time and loving care in presenting for our enjoyment.

The display will be up through December 27, so make it a point to see it before then.  And if you have children and live in the Carmichael area, your kids might recognize some of their friends' faces in the display.
