I went and picked up my Supra Key today from our local Realtor Board. For some reason I thought..as a new agent that this would be a simple process. Not so! My Realtor Board gave me 20 pages to go home and read about this little bundle of joy. If I'm not worried enough about being able to access someone's home then I'm worried that I will single handedly take down the entire DSL system for AT and T. Better yet...blowing every line in my subdivision because I didn't use a filter...that by the way no one at Radio Shack knew anything about. While I'm cooking Hamburger Helper for my family this evening I can try to figure out the docking station and how to plug it in. Now after that I get to go on the web-site and make sure I'm all signed up there so that I can get Realtor reports of who entered my listings. Please tell me I'm worrying over nothing.
Barbara...Just in case you weren't worried enough I thought I would share an experience I had. At one point (a time I will never forget!) I could not find my Supra key. I looked all over, over and over again. I called my local board and spoke to the director. When she told me I would have to the sheriff's office and fill out a report, I was terrified. You better believe I found that key!
Now for the good news...I've been in real estate for many, many years, licensed since 1986 and I love it! Looking at your other posts I am sure you will too.
Cheers,
Kathleen
Our board recently converted from the Display Key to the Active Key. They also passed out copious amounts of written info and wanted you to sit through a video both of which aren't really needed. It was pretty easy to figure out.
I like the new Active Key because I don't have to sync it up. The battery doesn't last nearly as long however and I found it useful to purchase the car charger option.
Good luck with the key, Barbara. Like everything else, it seems difficult when you initially look at it but, once you give it a whirl, you realize just how simple it really is!
