It's a funny thing, we here in the Valley of the Sun, plant our winter rye to have green lawns all winter. We remove our Solar Screens from our windows to let in all the light. We plant an abundance of flowers to bloom all winter, My Poinsettias are real nice this year. We reduce the amount of water our trees and shrubs get, and when it rains we turn them off for a few days. Occasionally we will get light frost and must cover our plants for a day or 2. I love the weather in the Valley of the Sun, today its going to be 70 and partly cloudy. For those of you that live in the colder areas of the country that want to escape the snow plan your trip now.
