Happy Holidays to all from the Beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire, yesterday my son and I took a hike through the Flume Gorge one of the great state parks near Franconia Notch and Cannon Mountain Ski resort.
Happy to have Conor home from college and to take a hike in the woods with my terrific son.
Access to the flume is Via a beautiful covered bridge that spans the Pemigewasset river.
There will be time today to take a few runs...after this mornings newly fallen snow - we're itching to head up to Loon Mountain and tear it up.

These ice covered trees reminded me we had rain just a few days ago...but as they say in New Hampshire: if you don't like the weather wait a few minutes and it will change...happy Holidays all and enjoy the snow.

This Brook spills in to the Pemigewasset River right behind my house.
