This post will bring that total down to about 65 points needed but I will achieve the milestone number after midnight tonight when I make several more of my comments for tomorrow, I will join the Millionaire group and be in the first 50 members of ActiveRain nationwide to achieve that status. So first I want to thank everyone that encouraged me to stay with blogging when I didn't really feel like it a couple years back.
The truth is, I was uninspired at times to write about what I know best. Real Estate. I have spared you most of my private anecdotal stories because I don't like talking about my client experiences even though they have always been wonderful. It just feels like I would be betraying that agent /client relationship to make internet noise.
And I don't like telling people too much about how I run my business because I sure don't want to come off like a know it all. I do like sharing photography and some of the neat things you can with it but I think that even this gets a bit too predicable.
I could write about all the things I have learned in real estate after over two decades of service to my clients, service to my profession in local, state national leadership but most of it would be of no value to anybody. Sort of like talking politics after the election, LOL.
I try to write narrative local market reports but find them short on benefits unless I knew for sure consumers in my market were reading them and it helped them in some way make a better decision. But I have no particular proof of that since I have no idea who they are. And further, too many and it is just plain uninteresting. It comes down to just doing a little of this and a little of that often enough and trying to make my way to help out where I can, give guidance when and where I can, share experiences in photography that I hope aren't boring and promote the city that I dearly love. San Diego.
The hardest thing for me to remember is to always practice what I preach. Each day, we all likely have a different audience reading our posts and what I said in my many yesterday posts very possibly could bear repeating again today. Thus, our ActiveRain Senior staff is now encouraging us to re-write some of our older posts because they know the value of what we shared before and new consumers need the same education( updated). I haven't started that as yet but it is time to begin.
So, instead of writing that I have reached some new milestone after I did it, I thought I would write the post that actually completed the task of getting me there.
Tomorrow, I'll be a Millionaire in points and will build from there. Better late than never I always say.
