First Night is the city of Charlotte's "official" celebration. It's a family-friendly, cultural celebration taking place in Uptown Charlotte. Artists, dancers, comedians, musicians and magicians will take to the streets and venues for you to enjoy. If midnight is too late for the younger ones in your family though, there's a kid's countdown earlier in the day. The evening will be capped off by fireworks at midnight.
