Lost in the jungle and loving it was how I felt on our morning walk today. It was a little later than normal because it was just too darn cold outside to venture out! It went down to 49 degrees and there was no way my nose was going outdoors until those temperatures were up close to 60 degrees!
Walking though Hammock Park, with the live oak trees bending over the trails, as if they were protecting us from the sun's rays, I felt as if I was far away from civilization and really enjoying it!
Naturally, we were back at the car and heading home all too soon but I do love these walks where I can enjoy the beauty Mother Nature provides! Florida is really a wonderful place to live!
