Indio was named the fifth fastest-growing city in California according to a new population estimates report released by the California Department of Finance. Indio's population grew about 4% from last year to account for 81,393 people according to the report. It doesn't surprise me that Indio has seen such growth, the city has many desirable neighborhoods to choose from.

Before the economic downfall, Indio was seeing a tremendous amount of new building and new home growth. New home sales are expected to pick up again now that the inventory levels in the desert have declined to less than 2 months supply. There is a high demand for homes in the city of Indio. I believe we will be seeing a lot of new home builders coming back into this market as early as this fall.

The Orchard

If your looking for a larger garage or a big lot, The Orchard might be the neighborhood for you. Some floor plans feature a four car tandem garage, making these homes every car collectors dream!
