One of my New Year's Resolution is to stay healthy..... I am smart enough to know that in order to do that, one must eat right and exercise 3-4 times a week. Its been 30 days since I have made this resolutionand although I cheat and eat many foods not on the so called healthy list, ie chocolate, I am very serious about my exercise routine, As part of my weekly exercise routine, I attend a Pilates class twice a week conducted by Dr Adam Weiss in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. I have tried almost all types of exercise in the last 20 years,but after only 4 months of Pilates Reformer training, I truly have found this type of exercise the most beneficial for me. Pilates Reformer is strength training on the Stott Reformer machine. The Stott Reformer is modeled after the "reformer" used for rehab that uses resistance and assistance at the same time. |

What Are The Benefits?
- Increased core strength(middle abdominals, obliques, back and all the muscles that support the spine).- Over the last 4 months, many people have noticed my improved posture.
- Sculpted legs, thighs, and arms and flat abs. Lean muscle around the shoulders. I was just kidding in the title, not exactly flat abs- maybe flatter abs.
- Stress reduction- my husband and kids say that I scream less around the home.
- Hopefully, a better game of golf in the summer
