I recently went to the Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting for the Villages Resort (Flint, TX) Indoor Water Park. This Water Park is not just for members but non-members as well.
The $10 million indoor water park is approximately 19,000 square feet and features a signature bucket dump aqua play unit, wave pool, lazy river and four indoor/outdoor tube rides. The 7,000 square foot entry building includes a food service area featuring Yum! Brands Inc. products from Pizza Hut® Express and A&W All American Food® Express, an arcade filled with the latest electronic adventures, a souvenir gift shop, and a large changing room with over 1,000 lockers.
The Villages is tucked along the shoreline of sparkling Lake Palestine, one of the largest and most beautiful water sports playgrounds in the Southwest. The lake's 100 miles of shoreline and miles of waterways offer an unending selection of vacation fun activities. The Villages offers a luxurious water-oriented club lifestyle.
