Help! I need a "Man Purse"

Help! I need a Man Purse

I got an Apple Ipad for Christmas. Pretty cool! Now I need to carry it around with me. I'll need a Man Purse (briefcase) that screams "This guy is no one to trifle with!" I"m very secure in my masculinity, but I can't pull off pink! The purse (briefcase) needs to carry around the accessories that I will now need.man purse

  • It came with a wireless keyboard that I will need to hunt and peck with.
  • I'll need a place to put my antacids for those deals that start to unravel 2 days before closing.
  • I'll need a place to put my electronic pen so I can sign documents on my Ipad. I'll also need to a place to put my blue pen for HUD documents. Jeesh...And people call me a dinosaur!
  • I'll guess I'll need some room to carry a couple paper files for those clients that are electronically challenged.
  • I'll probably need a strap that goes over my shoulder. There is no room on my belt anymore. I already have a cell phone, electronic key, and Leatherman Tool hanging off it.

Can you help a brother out? I don't know if I should go to Coach, Gucci, or Office Max. What's a guy to do?

Wayne: How about a black computer bag sans the computer. Perfect size for files, pockets for various electronics. Me? I'm a Coach girl.

I was thinking a black Coach - black goes with everything and I have seen some "all men" carrying them.  But its good for those that are on the "under" too.  So its flexible!  Keeping up with the way this world is going - flexibility!!!

Happy New Year.

I use an extra purse so this dilemma makes sense to me for the Fellas.

I started an iPad group a few years ago called Realtor iPad Apps on Active Rain. I have over three hundred posts of everything I learned from day one. Enjoy!

I am a simple man...black binder with slip in pocket for my iPad and keyboard. I do like the idea above for the case for the concealed carry weapon!

Visit with a a shoemaker shop, leather or luggage place and having them make one up is not only easy to do, but the custom part where it matches your personality is too good to pass on...Logo and initials? Yes...go with for it!

Tigard, It's an issue for male Realtors. A briefcase is too old school, a backpack is too casual, a pocketbook is too feminine. My vote would be for a really nice iPad case that comes with a keyboard and holders for styluses or if you need more room for papers, an upscale laptop bag or leather attache, as Edward recommended. I just slip my iPad in my pocketbook (I have a really large pocketbook).

I have just the item you need, Wayne.  It's a very sleek shoulder bag by Leeds.  I helped design a fancy Realtor logo plate to give it lots of class, and the local Realtor shops carried it when I sold.  Send me an email if you would like to have one.  Thanks,  Michelle   (E-mail: loansigner2go@gmail.com)

Wayne -  I like the idea of a rolling back if you're going to be carrying all of that stuff.

iPad for 3 years now. Tried the MURSe ( man purse) but training g has allowed me to just carry the iPad. I do have a leather case that holds the iPad and when it opens has small note pad and storage areas for quick leads, but most times I hand the person the iPad and let them write it in, then we talk iPad for a half hour and really connect.
