Happy New Year- My One and Only Resolution for 2013.

I don’t make New Year’s Resolutions. The few times I did I soon forgot about them; found that I couldn’t keep them or just decided to heck with them.

However....each year I do strive for one thing... one january 1 resolution....one resolve.... and that is to be a better person than I am today.

Better doesn’t mean that I’m not happy with who I am. “Better” for me means that~

~ I will work harder to be a better citizen of our planet.

~ I will work harder to be a better aunt, sister, wife, family member, grandmother and friend.

~ I will continue to learn something new every day to become a better person.

So whatever it takes, my one and only resolution is to be a better person than I am today.

Mel- I keep meaning to tell you that your profile pic fits you to a T! A wonderful, wild and fantastic 2013 to you!

Wanda- I'm going to try. I do remember when I was a kid making a numbered list of resolutions. I never did anything beyond making the list. Have a blessed New Year.

I know you will do it Kathy. This is a great resolution and I think I will try it too. Like you I usually forget about any that I make or give up on them but this one is one I strive for everyday so it should be an easier one to keep. Thanks for sharing this.
