Well it's that time of year again and as always I have some things to be resolute about in 2013. I have made New Years Resolutions almost every year and my track record isn't to bad, so here goes for 2013.
Number 1. Last year I resolved to lose weight and improve my overall fitness. I did good I am 22 pounds less less than I woke up to on January 1, 2012 and my overall fitness is far ahead of where I started. This year along with my fitness program I resolve to start and maintain a stretching program. Flexibility just makes everything easier. Getting in and out of cars, sitting on the floor and standing up and just about anything physical you can think of. So, I will be stretching it out every day.
Number 2. My broker has been very good to me and cut me breaks all along the way. I resolve to pay her back with commission checks and good honest hard work. She has helped me appreciate what a good agent/broker relationship should be and appreciate it I do. Thanks Susan for an awful lot.
Number 3. I have become involved in many two important activities that I really enjoy. I am on the Board of Directors of our local Association, and I am President elect for the Tracy Council of Realtors. Thus, I resolve to give everything I have to each group and help them to be proud of my involvement with them. Our Association has committee assignments available and I will find more ways to make our Association stronger. Our local council holds a weekly marketing meeting and raises money for charity. I will do all I can to help each be better at their primary responsibilities.
Number 4. A friend of mine told me the other day that I am a good dad. I replied that there is no other title I would rather wear. My son is almost 17 and I resolve to try hard to know when to stick my nose in and when to keep it a safe distance away. He is a great son, but sometimes I have to just let him work things out on his own.
