Franklin Tennessee Golf Courses

Franklin TN Golf CourseWhile the weather was a little chilly today in Franklin TN, you may be considering a move that would put you here just as the warm weather begins to roll around. Perfect golfing weather, as my husband would say.

There are several Franklin Tennessee golf courses with excellent opportunities for those interested in chasing a little white ball around a course. Home buyers will find the majority of Williamson County golf courses are found in Franklin.

You will find two Franklin TN golf communities: Forrest Crossing and Westhaven. However, just look at the many golf options found nearby:

  • Fairways on Spencer Creek: Public nine-hole course along Mack Hatcher Parkway at 285 Spencer Creek Road.
  • Little Course at Conner Lane: A public nine-hole course designed for learning. This course is associated with the Golf House Tennessee. It is adjacent to the Vanderbilt Legends Course located at 400 Franklin Road.
  • Forrest Crossing Golf Course: This 18-hole public course is located on the rolling hills of the Harpeth River at 750 Riverview Drive.
  • Old Natchez Country Club: Private club in the Grassland community that is the oldest club in continual existence in the Nashville area located at 115 Gardengate Drive.
  • Temple Hills Country Club: Private club in northwest Franklin with an 18-hole and a 9-hole course located at 6376 Temple Road.
  • Vanderbilt Legends Club: A private 18-hole and 9-hole course located at 1500 Legends Drive.
  • Westhaven Golf Club: A private 18-hole course designed by Arthur Hill located at 4000 Golf Club Lane.

 

There are also three other courses within close proximity to Franklin:

  • Nashville Golf & Athletic Club: Private 18-hole course known as "one of the most beautiful 18 holes in America". It is located at 1703 Crockett Springs Trail in Brentwood.
  • The Governors Club: Private 18-hole Arnold Palmer course. It is located at 9681 Concord Road in Brentwood.
  • Harpeth Hills Golf Course: A public 18-hole course located in Percy Warner Park is recognized as one of the top public courses in Tennessee. It is located at 2424 Old Hickory Blvd in Nashville.
