Sex, Drugs, & Rock-n-Roll

Fox News reported this morning the words that are suggested to be banned from the Queens English.

The words are as follows:

Spoiler Alert

Trending

Bucket List

Fiscal Cliff

Superfood

Guru

Job Creators

Double Down

Boneless Wings

Passion/passionate

I am not ready to be rid of the word Spoiler Alert. This is because I think the word is necessary to give me enough time to change the volume or channel so I won't hear what is fixing to be said.

Bucket List is another word I feel I want to keep. I like this one better than “To Do List” plus, it tells me these are fun things I want to do.

Finally, Trending, I am not ready to retire this word either. I think it is an efficient word.

I noticed “It is What It Is” is not on the list. I think I am ready for that one to go to even thou it is a phrase.

You may ask your self which words or phrases I dislike. Well, ONE STOP SHOPPING can take a hike. It certainly isn't trending for me.

What does this title have to do with this post? That phrase WILL NEVER BE ON THE LIST!

Rob I am sooooo tired of the Fiscal Cliff thing. I think we are paying taxes on stuff that has already been taxed on! Maybe we should all go bake to trading stuff for stuff! Geewiz it is getting so bad.

Lorrie: I work for a municipality and when one of the "suits" gets a phrase in their mind, they will not stop using it. I am so over it.... in my tiny mind it makes me thing they are just ignorant and latching on to something they think will make them look smart. This is a false facade! Off my box!

Hi Sussie!!!! My Christmas was wonderul, hope yours was as well. As for New Year's, it was just me and the dog, kids all had their own plans, fiance was in Canada working on big city project, but I did get to play chauffeur!!! I am finally getting settled and getting organized and ready to get my business back on track now that I got all of my personal affairs stable and in order again. Life is great and I'm the happiest I have ever been!!!! Hope all is well with you!!!!
