Don’t worry, there are still a few you can do!

Lake Ridge

Golf Tournament Lake Ridge is the place to be! On Saturday, November 10, golfers from all over the area came to play in the tournament and support local charities. The event was the largest and most successful tournament at Lake Ridge since it was first held in 2008. The tournament raised $32,000, and donations continue to come in from the surrounding communities. Maybe we can raise $40,000 next year? Let’s make it a goal!

Cedar Hill ISD - Due to CHISD’s top public school education program, students receive an education that fully prepares them for future collegiate success. Graduates of CHISD receive millions of dollars in both academic and athletic scholarships each year in addition to earning college course credit. We are proud to be a part of the Cedar Hill Independent School District community and can’t wait to see what our students accomplish in 2013!

Big D NYE – Have you ever wanted to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Time Square? There’s no need to go to New York! Toys for Tots – We asked and you delivered! This year Vintage Oaks partnered with Toys for Tots to donate to toys to less than fortunate children in our area. Thank you for your generous donations, many children had fun and memorable Christmas’ this year.

Black Eyed Pea Cookoff - After you’ve celebrated the end of 2012 and the start of 2013, join an old southern tradition in Fredericksburg. According to legend, “if eaten on the first day of the year, a dish of black eyed peas is a New Year’s tradition thought to bring luck and prosperity for the coming year.” Round up the kids and get ready to eat black eyed peas and listen to local music.

We hope you have a happy and prosperous New Year!
