I called a Realtor friend of mine, who works for another broker last week, around 3:00 in the afternoon. He answered, said hello and told me that he was glad that his phone was working. I said, "What?" and he said that I was the first incoming call that he had gotten all day.

The truth of the matter is, don't just wait for the phone to ring and don't PLOM (Po' little old me) sitting around with other Realtors talking about how bad it is out there!

You're on ACTIVE RAIN, so be ACTIVE and make some RAIN! You really do know what needs to be done...Call past clients, send out personal notes, or go look at new listings..JUST DO SOMETHING THAT MOVES YOU ONE INCH CLOSER TO A PRODUCTIVE DAY.

It's easy to feel down, or stressed. The news doesn't help and fellow agents are not much better. Sometimes just ONE phone call can result in  sale. Isn't it worth it?

yep, A prime example of a person wondering why they don't get calls when they are doing nothing to generate them. If you want to be sucessful, you have to work at it to bring in business.

Great Post Al.

Lazy people cease to amaze me.

It amazes me how many agents sit by the phone waiting for clients to call them.
