Do you have a highly capable child? Today starts the nomination process for the Sumner School District!

2012-13 Highly Capable Program Nominations: January 3–31, 2013
Each school year, Sumner School District accepts nominations of students in grades 2-5 whose educational needs might be best served by the District’s Highly Capable Program.  Students identified as highly capable in grades 3-5 are served in a self-contained “all day” program; at the middle school level the program provides students with challenging programs in social studies, language arts, math and science content areas.

Nomination applications will be available at all elementary and middle schools beginning Thursday, January 3. Forms are available online during the nomination period, January 3-31, 2013.
