Train Collectors hold Meeting in Katy Texas
If you collect model train this has to be the show for you to attend. On Saturday January 5, 2013 The Gulf Coast Chapter of the Train Collectors Association will hold its 21ST Annual Toy Train Meet right here in Katy Texas.
The event is being held at the Katy VFW Hall which is located at 6206 George Bush Dr. Katy Texas in old or historic Katy. The fun starts at 10:30 AM and lasts until 4 PM.
Four large operating layouts of trains will be running and available to the attendees and two of these are hands on operation by the public. Numerous other attractions are scheduled including refreshments, food, raffles, engine races and of course trains will be available for purchase.
Tickets are cheap being only $6 per adult ( 16 years or older) and $9 per family. A huge plus is that children aged less than 16 years old are admitted free of charge if they are accompanied by an adult. All children attending will be given some type of train related items for free.
