Since you won't hear it from the left media, oue defense industry has millions of union workers. California, Texas, Washington and Florida have huge defense industries. Lockheed Martin, the largest defense contractor has 64 unions, amost of the company locations are in states that are left leaning. So is the Democrat party being truthful when it's leaders talk about reducing military spending. Only if it applies to non union locations. If fact, the Pentagon has requested base closings for the last few years and reductions in military arms programs obnly to see them rejec ted by Harry Reid and the Dem led Senate.
Ironically, the Obama administration has NO PROBLEM APPROVING WEAPONS BEING SOLD TO OTHER COUNTRIES, BUT WANTS TO STRIP YOU OF YOUR GUNS.
And the media can't seem to find one story about union pressure on the goverment to keep spending on defense. Hypocrites all.
