Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief Act extended

I'm glad to see that they finally got something right in Washington. They have extended the Mortgage Forgiveness Debt relief act until Jan 1, 2014.

The act provides a tax break for homeowners who have struggled through foreclosure and other financial hardship and keeps them from having to pay taxes on money they already lost with cash they never recieved.
