2008 ActiveRain Featured Blog Post Still Timely Today

By
Industry Observer with Retired

I wrote a post in 2008 that was featured and I re-read that post today and it gave me a sense of pride about its content. The post, as mentioned then, was inspired by a comment made by Jeff Dowler, a friend and real estate colleague here in San Diego.

The post was a question about what motivates us as a REALTOR to blog. I was impressed that I had such good insight actually being relatively new to the blogging world back then.

Here is the link, if you would like to read it. It isn't bad, really! In fact as I spent some time reading several others, I think I may be resurrecting more of them. There have been so many changes since we started blogging in 2006 and 2007. It is hard to even imagine some of the amazing things we talked about then that have all but been lost in the more recent industry and technology changes.

Lately I have seen quite a few people talk about rereading their old posts. It's interesting the "then v's now" with our posts.

William, it's fun to go back and read old posts, especially when they're good ones like this one.  Oh, and it's fun to see the smiling faces of some of the old blog buddies we don't see too much any more.
