I Learn Something New at ActiveRain Every Day and It's Time I Showed You. December 30 to January 5, 2013.
I learn something new every day at ActiveRain! With this series I try to highlight one post per day that gave me that “lightbulb” moment. It could be something techie, about Real Estate, about a place or person!
December 30: Sally & David Hanson Fill in the Blanks in Your Business/Life Plan.
I love Sally & David’s fill in the blank questions you can do for planning your business or your personal life. This would also work well with your children!!!
December 31: Kevin May The Wine of Kings and the King of Wines~ Fun Facts.
Champagne is my adult drink of choice but I’ve never taken the time to learn the distinctions between champagne and sparkling wine. I wonder if it’s considered in poor taste to mix it with orange juice?
January 1: Rebecca Gaujot A Wonderful Letter from an Autistic Child to Habitat for Humanity.
If you’ve read Rebecca’s posts you’d know that not only does she write great local posts but she is very active in Habitat for Humanity. Please go to Rebecca’s post and read Jesse’s letter. The homes that Habitat for Humanity build aren’t just about walls and a roof and providing shelter from the elements.
January 2: Bruno Tarquinii Tips for a More Focused 2013
Who hasn’t written plans and tips for the new year. And, they’re all good! Bruno has given us 4 very easy tips for a more focused 2013, and the one I like is read more! Learn something every day!
January 3: Lee Jinks Learning Photography
I have my iPhone and small digital camera as well as what I call my “big boy” camera that I have with me when I’m out at Green Cay but I’ve never really had any instruction other than point and shoot. There’s even a camera simulator. Head over!
January 4: Gary Woltal Dedicate Yourself to Being a Geek in the New Year.
This is a good one to review from time to time as well as have your children read. Being yourself has always been so much better than trying to be who you aren’t.
January 5: Tammy Lankford What Can I Do If I Can’t Find the Title to My Manufactured Home?
I never thought about the title to a manufactured home and what you have to do if you don’t have it. If you may occasion to list a manufactured home, you’ll find this helpful. Tammy shows what a true local expert and professional can do.
Thank you for letting me do what I love to do each day... learn something new!

Kathy another great list of blogs, I have to say this was the busiest first week of January in Real Estate in 25 years. Because of this I have probably been able to read the least amount of blogs this week so i appreciate the tips in where to start catching up on what i missed.
Hi Kathy. I hit this before I began my daily comment regime. I'm gonna go check out your recommendations now.
