I Learn Something New at ActiveRain Every Day and It's Time I Showed You.  December 30 to January 5, 2013.

I learn something new every day at ActiveRain!  With this series I try to highlight one post per day that gave me that “lightbulb” moment.  It could be something techie, about Real Estate, about a place or person!

Sally & David HansonDecember 30:   Sally & David Hanson  Fill in the Blanks  in Your Business/Life Plan.
I love Sally & David’s fill in the blank questions you can do for planning your business or your personal life.   This would also work well with your children!!!

Kevin MayDecember 31:  Kevin May    The Wine of Kings and the King of Wines~ Fun Facts.
Champagne is my adult drink of choice but I’ve never taken the time to learn the distinctions between champagne and sparkling wine.  I wonder if it’s considered in poor taste to mix it with orange juice?

Rebecca GaujotJanuary 1:  Rebecca Gaujot   A Wonderful Letter from an Autistic Child to Habitat for Humanity.
If you’ve read Rebecca’s posts you’d know that not only does she write great local posts but she is very active in Habitat for Humanity.  Please go to Rebecca’s post and read Jesse’s letter.  The homes that Habitat for Humanity build aren’t just about walls and a roof and providing shelter from the elements.

bruno tarquiniiJanuary 2:  Bruno Tarquinii   Tips for a More Focused 2013

Who hasn’t written plans and tips for the new year.  And, they’re all good!  Bruno has given us 4 very easy tips for a more focused 2013, and the one I like is read more!  Learn something every day!

Lee JinksJanuary 3:  Lee Jinks    Learning Photography

I have my iPhone and small digital camera as well as what I call my “big boy” camera that I have with me when I’m out at Green Cay but I’ve never really had any instruction other than point and shoot.  There’s even a camera simulator.  Head over!

gary woltalJanuary 4: Gary Woltal  Dedicate Yourself to Being a Geek in the New Year.
This is a good one to review from time to time as well as have your children read.  Being yourself has always been so much better than trying to be who you aren’t.

Tammy LankfordJanuary 5:  Tammy Lankford   What Can I Do If I Can’t Find the Title to My Manufactured  Home?
I never thought about the title to a manufactured home and what you have to do if you don’t have it.  If you  may occasion to list a manufactured home, you’ll find this helpful.   Tammy shows what a true local expert and professional can do.

Thank you for letting me do what I love to do each day... learn something new!

Conrad- ok.. which ones?

Silvia- I like the idea of Sally & David's fill in the blank questions.

Al & Peggy- I hope you'll read Rebecca Gaujot's post about Habitat for Humanity.

Sharon- you make my day, and especially on Sunday!  I can't wait to try the camera simulator in Lee's post!  I want to take better pictures as well.

Gita- and I thank you as well.

Kristin- if your time is short then I suggest Lee's post on Learning Photography!

Gary- that we may be but at least with your definition of geek I don't feel like the kid with the pocket protector.

Sheila- that's good, then that means my hunt went well.

John (QMan)- It had never occurred to me that manufactured homes could present title issues.

Ruth- welcome to ActiveRain!!!  I hope you'll head to Patricia Kennedy's weekly post as well.

Dick- just call me the Reader's Digest of AR.

Wanda- thank you.  Since I love champagne, I really enjoyed reading about the distinction between Champagne and Sparkling Wine.

Kathy another great list of blogs, I have to say this was the busiest first week of January in Real Estate in 25 years.  Because of this I have probably been able to read the least amount of blogs this week so i appreciate the tips in where to start catching up on what i missed.
