Should the NAR defend Lechuga?

Agent Genius posted an interesting article that states that this may be a case for NAR to gain credibility with the consumer by defending Lucas Lechuga in his battle with a Miami developer.

Considering that AR is a blogging platform, I would imagine that the membership here would be quite interested in the outcome of this, given the fact that it could be any one of us in this position.

I think that although words certainly bite back...I wonder what all the consumers think about this developer and the outcome...I almost bought property in that building when it first went up.

Whatever happened to a developer calling or e-mailing to point out an inaccuracy, or commenting in the blog itself? Thanks for bringing this situation to our attention. Please keep us posted.

I heard that there was a case in Delaware with a blog that allowed comments---and the person suing the blogger lost the case because he had the opportunity to set the record straight---AND DIDN'T, via the comments.

It would really suck if we have to start using legalize on everything. I already added a disclaimer, but I really don't want to preface everything with "allegedly".
