I recently checked out The City of Bristol TN 2012 Water Quality Report ...
It amazed me the things I didn't know
LIKE ....

The fact that they run more than 2,000 tests for an estimated 80 contaminates on the tap water that we drink, bathe with and cook with!

The Bristol Water Treatment plant takes water from The South Holston River and starts a 6-step process to purify it and then pumps an average of about 6 million gallons of the water to it's customers!

Did you know that each of us use about 100 gallons a day!

Did you know that Bristol TN serves more than 12,000 water customers and more than 40,000 individuals and 5 utility districts!

That's a lot of water!

Hi Rob,

I do water samples and testing for water wells on homes that have there own water wells on the property.

I have yet to find  contaminated well. And that's a good thing.

These guys at the lab are really good.

I have a well.  I've seen what the water treatment system filters out. 

I therefore, out of an abundance of caution, drink bottled water.

Amazing that you would think by now that all cities have a program in place to make their water taste better. Everyone has a comment on their water and it is mostly negative. Buying bottled water? I would pay more for good house water instead
