Say It With Me.....49er's!!!!

I deserve this!! If I do say it myself. :) What a great evening I had last night! And I'd like to say it was only partly due to the fact my Niners won, but that's a pretty big lie.

Yesterday afternoon, David's brother came over to watch the 49er game with my son and I! We had a wonderful time.....we did a lot of laughing and a little crying. Mostly laughing!!

Jeff is David's older brother and of course share similar characteristics, physical and manner. He's had a long haul in the last few years hitting so close to the bottom that he spent a year living in the Salvation Army. Yet, here he was sober and supporting me and my son. David would be so happy to see this.

I made my famous "Walking Tacos" and we nervous ate for 3 quarters.....then we felt like we could relax a bit. I sent him home with some of David's jackets, a favorite sweatshirt, a Niner ball cap and in return he left me with a promise to come back next Sunday for the next game!!

All in all, a great evening! Now, today....I can sit back, relax and enjoy the games. Just doesn't get better than this....football all weekend long!

That game was amazing yesterday. The first quarter was exhausting. I was very frustrated with the fact that we could not seem to get ahead and stay there. But then shifting into the second half we definitely took command of the game. I really hope the Niners are able to go all the way to the Super Bowl.

Bryan: I'm right there with you...when they kept hanging around, on our field, I was a bit nervous! But then we really came alive. I hope Seatle wins today, better to be on our home field...and would be fun here with the AR gods too. lol

Karen, the Niners did have a tough time until they finally wore down the Packers. All 3 of the playoff games this weekend have been tight and #4 is shaping up that way as well.

Karen, where did they get that quarterback? He was amazing! I was rooting for the 9'ers myself, because Green Bay is in my Lions division.

Karen -- sorry to disappoint you but the Seahawks lost by 2 in the final seconds of the game.  It would have been nice to get that West Coast playoff set up!  Glad to hear you had family around to cheer with you.

Good games, but I think they messed up the timing of both the games.

The Atlanta/San Fran game was at 3pm- noon your time. It was played in a nice toasty warm dome. Our AWESOME game was played at 6:30pm in the freezing cold. They should have switched them.

Oh well. The correct teams won!

Karen- having been born and raised in Texas, I am a football fanatic.  I once thought that were I to come back in another life I'd come back as a football player.  I was young and dumb when I thought that. Now I'd come back as the owner of a football team.  I'm glad you had a good football Sunday.  That makes for a good day in my book.
